⭐⭐⭐⭐ " I should have chosen the instructor led option
“I enrolled in the CHRR™ certification program because I wanted to transition into HEDIS medical record review, and the content itself was detailed and informative. There is a lot of valuable material included, and it’s clear that the program is comprehensive.
However, for me personally, the volume of information felt overwhelming at times. Because there is so much material to absorb, I would have benefited from having a live instructor or scheduled virtual sessions to walk through complex sections and answer questions in real time. While the self-paced format offers flexibility, I found myself wishing for more structured, instructor-led guidance. Buy, Buy the hard copy textbook. the course only comes with the ebook. You will thank me later.
Overall, the program provides solid foundational knowledge, but adding live support options could make it easier for learners who prefer more direct interaction. I'm still studying to to pass my exam which is coming up soon.”

“I’ve worked in healthcare quality for years, and I can honestly say Dr. Lanette really knows her field. She doesn’t just repeat textbook information — she explains how medical record review actually works in real healthcare settings.
What stood out to me was how she connects documentation accuracy to compliance and patient outcomes. That bigger-picture perspective made the training feel meaningful, not just technical.
AIMRRA feels like it’s led by someone who truly understands the industry and wants professionals to operate at a higher standard. I would absolutely recommend this program.”

“Dr. Lanette is clearly very knowledgeable. You can tell the program was built by someone who understands both the details and the bigger regulatory environment behind medical record review.
The material is thorough and well thought out, and I appreciated how organized everything was. I do think adding more live discussions or interactive sessions would make it even stronger, especially for those who like asking questions in real time.
Overall though, AIMRRA feels professional and well-positioned in the field. The expertise behind it is evident.”

“Dr. Lanette clearly has deep experience in medical record review and risk adjustment. The amount of knowledge included in the program shows that this isn’t surface-level training — it’s detailed and serious.
For me, the volume of information was a lot to process. I would have benefited from more live instructor support or guided walkthroughs to break down some of the heavier sections.
That said, her credibility and expertise are very clear. AIMRRA feels like it’s built by someone who genuinely understands the field and wants learners to be fully prepared.”

⭐⭐"It was too much! Ughhhhh. I didn't know record abstraction is so much different than medical record review. I have been a nurse for more than 25 years and the way ncqa wants us to review these records is crazy. Nothing against Aimrra but I was not expecting a lot of work. I guess I just want the pay without the work, LOL. Good luck! Just know it is alot of work and studying. OH YEA you got to have a physical hard copy book. The ebooks was hard for me. Just in case anyone was wondering I did pass my exam after 2 attempts. Glad to say I'm working from home reviewing hedis records, so I guess I am glad that I took the class. I just wish someone would have told me it was a lot of work.
